We Are Darkstar 20 – 21 March @ EVE Miami

Italian based tech house / deep house label Darkstar and label captain Alexander Fog will invade Miami in March 2012 with a stack of supreme quality tunes. After a sold out showcase held during the 2011 Amsterdam Dance Event, this year’s Winter Music Conference (WMC) in collaboration with the hot and legendary Miami venue Eve Nightclub will be the centre of sophisticated clubbing on the 20th of March, when Darkstar takes over the venue and programs 7,5 hours of solid deep house and tech house sets. Between 10:30pm and 6am, Darkstar owner Alexander Fog and a selection of his Darkstar roster will put the F in finesse, presenting this fast emerging label to both the attending industry honchos as well as the international clubbers community.

Darkstar is rapidly becoming a household name in the impenetrable amount of labels known in current EDM. Darkstar releases consequently find their way to the playlists of the world’s biggest DJ’s and more than often claim a firm spot in the influential UK Buzz Charts, a specialists chart representing the best and hottest tracks as played on the global dance floors. With a very strong online following of the label – the official Darkstar Facebook page has been liked over 100.000 times and counting – and with an ever expanding fan base and support of the global DJ elite, Darkstar and its artists may very well be considered a true asset to the music industry as we know it today.

Darkstar releases may count on the vast support by the who’s who in the deep house and tech house scene. A-listers such as Karotte, Shlomi Aber, Luciano, Marcel Dettmann, Joris Voorn, Dr. Motte, Nic Fianciulli and more are heavy supporters of the Darkstar label. Alexander Fog’s radio show The Gourmet Club joins Radio FG

Next to a rammed WMC 2012 gig schedule, hosting two showcases with his Darkstar imprint in various Miami venues in March and a ton of releases on the verge of hitting the streets on world renowned labels, the sympathetic Italian deep house maestro Alexander Fog now may add another milestone to his career.

Alexander Fog’s weekly radio show, as of March 2012 transformed into “The Gourmet Club” and showcasing one hour of the finest deep house and tech house, will now be expanded on a global scale. One of the biggest and most influential web radio stations, Radio FG, has been added to the list of broadcasters and will host The Gourmet Club on a weekly basis.

The Gourmet Club will be aired every Friday between 9pm and 10pm CET in the Underground FG section of Radio FG. With the addition of The Gourmet Club to Radio FG, Alexander Fog joins Radio FG residents such as Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, David Guetta, Carl Cox, Dave Clarke, Adam Beyer, Laidback Luke, Benny Benassi, Ferry Corsten and Paul Oakenfold to name a few.
